Consolidating 50 regional offices and 1800 staff to the most technologically advanced office in leading utilities company property estate.

The Situation

Over 1800 staff from over 50 locations were moved to the most technologically advanced office in a leading utilities company property estate. Encompassing an impressive 1547 permanent desks over 8 floors and 190,000 sq. ft at their Reading headquarters.

The focus was to provide a flexible and dynamic work environment that enhances collaboration, efficiency and productivity.

The Solution

The main atrium space, along with others including the digital media space was conceptualised as a result of our in depth knowledge for smart working activities, particularly sourcing the right furniture for the space and the needs of the users.

A common feature across all floors is the extensive opportunity to step away from the desk whilst maintaining productivity via breakout pods and high back arm chairs with power integration and USB charging. Acoustic booths were also installed to allow for periods of intense concentration

The Result

With facilities such as those now on offer our client is able to not only retain their current staff for longer but will also be able to increase their talent attraction activities by providing a technologically advance, adaptable and welcoming place to work.
